Trauma Care at Vinayak Hospital
A coordinated trauma response — emergency physicians, surgeons, orthopaedics and ICU working as one team.
Care that's ready the moment you need it.
Trauma is treated as a hospital-wide priority at Vinayak Hospital. From the moment a patient arrives — by ambulance or as a walk-in — the trauma team is activated to provide rapid assessment, airway control, bleeding control and pain relief, while imaging and laboratory teams move in parallel. Orthopaedic, general surgery and intensive care specialists are on call, and operating theatres can be readied for emergency surgery without losing time. The aim is simple: stabilise quickly, decide clearly, and deliver definitive care under one roof.
Road traffic & poly-trauma
Patients with multi-system injuries from road accidents are managed using ATLS principles — primary survey, resuscitation, focused imaging, then definitive care.
Orthopaedic trauma
Fracture management — from simple casting to plating, nailing and external fixation — supported by an equipped operating theatre and post-op physiotherapy.
Burns, falls & industrial injuries
Initial care for burns, falls from height and crush injuries with wound care, surgical debridement and referral pathways for specialised burn centres when required.
Family support
Trauma is hard on families too. Our coordinators help with admission, insurance, medico-legal documentation and clear updates from the treating team.
